Day One Hundred Sixty Seven - Recovery Day 40

I am feeling really sore today! Ouch my back is totally worn out. I haven't walked like I did yesterday in over a month. I mean, I walked fast. Today, I'm feeling it. I would've walked this morning, but both Lees and I were busy getting things ready for the propane company to come. We had lots of clearing out to do. I didn't know if they would be by today or tomorrow. Well, it turns out that they ain't coming by until tomorrow morning at 9am. Sucks too because that was when I was supposed to be at the church and meet my Uncle who was going to help us to start decorating. Anyway, I texted everyone. The cool thing though is that it gives us more time to get ready for them. Lisa cleared out a lot of weeds and I straightened out the front yard and got my gate opened and my road ready.

The rest of today was pretty dull. I'm feeling great! Honestly though, I feel like I'm putting on weight. I know I am, but I'm thinking it's a huge crap load, but I know that's probably in my head. I really just need to focus on only exercising and getting back to it. Not what happened during my recovery. If I did gain weight, it was for very good reason. I was on strict doctors orders and I still am. No heavy lifting until November. I still got about 3 weeks left until I'm fully ready to roll. I feel that way already, but I know I need to go easy. My legs, however, are ready to roll. Yesterday I did some light trotting as well as my fast pace walking. I guess that's why I'm so sore today.

Went to the casino today. I won a little bit, enough to get some things tonight at Walmart. Oh man, I've gotta write this one down...
Over a the casino, I went to my favorite Quarter machines, the new ones. The same ones that both grandpa and I win at. Well, there was this dude sitting next to me. He was at the super winning machine!! Let me tell you, that guy was winning out the ass! I don't know what he started off with, but when I saw his wins, he was at $1035.00. I mean, WHOA!!!!! I couldn't believe it. He was winning like crazy and the machine was still paying him. He was winning bonus games over and over, and winning tons of credits. By the time I left, he was at around $1205.00 and he was still winning. I couldn't believe it. How I wish I had that kind of luck....

But Lisa, my best and most wonderful pal here on earth, told me something that really cheered me up. She said to me, "Your luck is in life, not casinos!" Oh my gosh that put a smile on my face. That was so nice to hear and that definitely made sense. I have a wonderful life. I may not win money at casinos, but I enjoy everything in my life maybe more than ppl who do win, do. I'm very happy and that comment really made my day ;)

Well, I'm going to finish up what I'm doing, then feed my animals. I took Lisa to work today, so I'll be heading out to pick her up here in a little bit. It's been a great day!
