Day One Hundred Fifty Eight - Recovery Day 31
I'm feeling really good today!
I wanted to go for a walk this morning, but since we had money :D yay!! I decided to take us into town and do some money spending. I bought Lisa some things she needed for school and I finally bought my movie. We were out in town all morning. We drove around and did a few things. I wanted to take us to a movie, but the only showings were going to make Lisa have to go straight to work from the theater and she wasn't ready to go to work from there, so we called that off. Maybe next week sometime.
Anyway, we went up to the casino after just to have lunch, since it's close to home. We had a great lunch! I had a yummy Frito Pie and Lisa had a burger. My mom called while we were there and said that she and my dad were out buying things for Hallowed Eve. They bought some Star Wars stuff, since that's the theme of the event this year. They asked me about the things they were getting and I approved and told them it was perfect. Afterwards, I had Lisa go home and get ready for work, then to come back and pick me up when she was ready, so she did. I stayed there and played just a couple dollars, literally. I didn't bet any big money or anything, just about $2 but I walked out of there with $10 haha :D So that was good. Making profit no matter how big, is always great!
I took Lisa to work, then I visited Sun Ray Casino, but I was only there for a short while. I got myself a Players Card, then played a few bucks. I mainly just went there to see if they added any new machines because they took a lot of them out recently. They did, which was cool but there were a lot of ppl in there so I didn't play much. I don't like that casino too much because it really stinks in there. Cigarette smoke everywhere and it just smells horrible!
Anyway, I left with a few dollars more than I had when I went in, so I was very happy. Not a whole lot, but a little bit profit, which was cool. I went home after that, I was done for the day. I hung out here and just enjoyed being home. I watched a few movies, including Avengers: Age of Ultron. I mean, it's a great movie, but honestly I didn't really care for it as much as the first one. Why, well because they have way too many surprise plot points. I mean, when the heck did Black Widow and Hulk start this romance thing? How did Ultron build that fancy robot body of his? Where did Hawkeye's family come from? Why are they acting like Captain America isn't very powerful and won't really stand a chance against anyone, yet they NEVER say that crap to Black Widow, Hawkeye, or especially IronMan. I mean, all three of those ppl are just normal humans. Tony Stark is just a man, NO superpowers whatsoever. You take away his iron suit and that guy couldn't handle anyone, yet just because he's played by Robert Downey Jr., they have to make him all powerful. I mean, first he stands toe to toe with Thor in the first one, then he kicks Loki's ass, then he fights Hulk in this new one and kicks his ass. I mean, it's BS!! They are giving way too much power to Iron Man. Pisses me off, and here they talk about Captain America like he's too weak to be on the team. That guy could take on Everyone of the Avengers. He took the power of Thor's hammer in the first one AND he's supposed to be able to lift Thor's hammer....yet why the F*CK didn't they have that in this movie?!!!! I mean, he moves it, but why doesn't he actually LIFT the damn thing?!! That made me so mad, yet the very first person to be able to lift it besides Thor himself...was the Vision. Omg that was so stupid, I mean I know the Vision can lift the hammer, but why would they show that happening before Captain America?! Dammit, I'm just so pissed off about that. In the first Avengers movie, I was really wanting to see Captain America lift Thor's hammer, but they didn't have it. Then they teased it in this movie...but yet it didn't happen, now they ruined the whole thing by giving that first wonder to the Vision. Ugh, that pissed me off. I mean, even if Cap lifts it now, it's not going to be as awe inspiring or surprising now because the damn Vision already lifted it on the big screen. So Marvel totally F*CKED UP there!!! So yeah, this movie wasn't all that good. Too many plot holes and surprise plot points that were never explained. I also hate how in the next Captain America movie, Civil War, they're basically centering it around Iron Man or rather Robert Downey Jr. That dude even has the money rolling in like crazy! If that Cap movie outperforms the second one, they're automatically attributing that to Downey saying he'll be the reason for it....uh ok! I don't know why they're pissing their pants over that guy! I mean, Iron Man 3 sucked!! I hated it, I thought it was really stupid, and I especially like how in other Marvel movies, they'll always talk about other Avengers. Yet in Iron Man 3, they didn't mention anyone. They mentioned "big dude with a hammer" but not actually referring to him by his name, and they mentioned the name "Avengers", but that's it. I'm guessing that's RDJ's thing. He doesn't want anyone taking the spotlight from him, so when it's just his movie, he was to be the only thing there! Iron Man 3 was crap, so was Iron Man 2. I didn't care for either of those movies. The only one that was good was the first one. That one I could watch over and over, but the other two were just horrible! He says and does the same things and doesn't really change his acting style in any way. I just don't like that guy, and now that he's in Cap 3, he's walking around already thinking that he's going to be the star! Me, I'm not watching it because of him. I watch it because of Captain America. I think Chris Evans plays the BEST Cap. Seriously, that guy really makes you believe his role. I'm a huge Captain America fan and I loved the second Cap movie so much! I watched it several times in theaters. Now this new one is coming out next year and I'm totally excited about it. I mean, I liked how they are putting Iron Man in there, but I hate that RDJ is thinking the whole damn movie is going to be centered around him. I mean, it's called "CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR" not Iron Man 4. Pisses me off!!
