Day Thirty Three - REST DAY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LITTLE BROTHER!!!! Wow, I have no idea how old he is. I think he's 24 now, maybe. Anyway, the day was pretty ok! Went and fed my parents' animals again this morning. I sure like seeing those dogs. They seem happy to see me. I make sure they have food and give'em fresh water. Been doin that since Friday night so now they're used to it. After we left their place, it was so hot that I drove back down to the river haha. I go in there this time! I wanted to yesterday, but didn't. Today I dove in there and OMG did it feel refreshing!!! I actually swam in the river in May. I haven't done that in forever! Usually the river is too icy cold until late June. Well, I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty damn cold, but I quickly got used to it. Lisa got in after a while also and we just had a great time swimming! We were down there all by ourselves. I really wish we'd brought Cody and Cooper. I wanted to yesterday, but I didn't want to go back

Day Thirty Two

Up early this morning! Did my 3 miles. It was so hot out there! That heat is really comin around. When we were done with the walk, I headed straight over to my parents' place and fed their animals. Lisa came with me. It was cool! While we were there, Lisa said that I really looked smaller than ever before. She said she could tell I was really dropping weight. I haven't checked my weight since March I think it was. Or it could have been February. I didn't want to check it anymore, given how it kept changing. I just wanted to work my ass off and let the results show in time. I do feel much lighter and that DDP yoga is really making me more flexible. I'm getting really good at my balance now and as much as I sweat during those workouts, especially during my bowflex workouts in the mornings. I'm sure my weight is dropping. I'm putting in a lot of work. We got back, I was gonna do my final Bowflex workout of the week, but ugh it was hot and I was pretty tired fr

Day Thirty One

We got up extra early this morning and did 3 miles! We had to get home right away and water the trees because today was SAN ANDREAS :D We went to see that movie! I thought we were gonna have really cruddy seats because we got there a lil late. I didn't get to see any previews. Right when we walked into the theater, it was starting. We actually got great seats, which was Awesome!! Oh man, what an AWESOME movie it was!!! I was blown away by the whole thing!!! I mean, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson makes the BEST movies ever!!! That guy's acting gets better and better with each movie he makes. I really enjoyed this movie. It was really intense and totally action packed and thrilling!! There was one thing today that completely ruined my day and almost ruined the movie! On our way to the theater, my dad called me and said they were on their way out to Albuquerque for the weekend. He told me a few days back that they were all going out there for the weekend. Well he dropped

Day Thirty

Up early this morning! Did my 3 miles. Came home and did my morning Bowflex workout. I did 2 sets of every exercise with 20 to 30 reps on each one. Then I did my Ab lounge, 3 sets. Finally I did 22 minutes on the exercise bike. It was so cool to listen to my speakers while doing my workout. Hooking those things up yesterday, that was so great!! I'm very happy that they're finally working. It sure helps out when I'm busting butt in my workout room ;} Finished my gallon of water today! This evening I put off my workout because I was planning a trip to New York City for next year. I was so excited planning that I didn't even think about my workout lol. I got the flight planned and the prices figured on a hotel. I even decided on a hotel we're gonna stay at right in Times Square. it's gonna be so fun, and I figured on the transportation to and from the airport both ways. I figured how much money we need to save. This is going to be Lisa's celebration trip

Day Twenty Nine

Up early and did 3 miles! Before we left, I finished hooking up those speakers in my weight room. I finally got them working really good ;) I think the volume on my stereo is no good. The speakers are hooked up and sound great, but once I touch the volume, the sound breaks up really bad and it goes really low. I have to constantly tap it to really make it sound normal. That's a hassel. I'll need to get a new stereo probably. That one, I haven't used it since 2003, wow twelve years. No wonder it's not working good. Oh well. We came home and I did my outside weights workout! 4 sets of deadlifts, and I added a new exercise in there. I'm now doing a standing press. I do 2 sets of that, then I do 2 sets of 100lb curls. I finished it off with 3 sets of bench pressing. My body is feelin Awesome!! Oh man, it's so AWESOME to see my "new" car sitting over there behind my jeep. I was just staring at it all morning. I can't believe it's MINE MINE MINE

Day Twenty Eight - New Car Day

Today was the BEST DAY of the month!!!! I got a new car!!!! Well, it's not a new new car, but it's new to me, as in a car for me :D There's this car that Lisa's mom had for years. I did some work on it for her once a few years ago. Anyway, it's been sitting at her old neighbors house for about a year now. I always thought she gave it to those ppl. I was always wondering and wishing if she would've gave it to me. It looked like a nice car! I always told Lisa that. Well, today when Lisa and her mom went up town to pay for her school, they drove by that house and Lisa mentioned that I wanted it. Her mom right away told Lisa that she would sell it to me! She called me and told me. She told me the price and I was blown away!! Talk about a deal. She only wanted $300 for it and the best part is that it is running :) It actually starts. So they took it away from those people. They wanted to buy it but were never going to pay her for it. They had it for over a year and

Day Twenty Seven

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!! Today we honor all those we have lost! We also honor those who have served and died for our great country. Never forget to honor all the service animals that have died serving our country as well. There have been so many animals that have helped soldiers throughout history. Horses, dogs, even marine life like dolphins. So many animals that have fallen in battle. They too have served and we must never forget to honor them as well. After a two day rest, I'm back at it today! Did a full days' workout. Did 3 miles this morning, then came back and did my outside weights workout! This evening I did my DDP yoga workout. Also, I was invited over for a cookout at my parents place. Ooooh I don't like the food my mom always has at the dinners. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's Amazing food, but that's just it. I'm dieting and I really need to watch what I eat, but when my mom has dinners, her food is just really good and I don't want t

Day Twenty Six - REST DAY

I'm writing this blog pretty early. I don't plan on being online much today so I'm just going to get it over with. Last day of rest. My shoulder feels better, but still feel that strange discomfort in there. Definitely a day of Rest I needed. Yesterday and today. Not lookin forward to getting back to the grind tomorrow, so I'm really gonna enjoy this day ;)

Day Twenty Five - REST DAY

Ouch! Today was a day I needed. Dang, my shoulder is just crazy. I mean, it's not as bad as it was yesterday morning, but I can still feel it. I wish I knew what I did to it, dang!! I couldn't even lift my arm that well. I must've have slept on it wrong, or strained something inside. Dang, it hurts :( We watched, Poltergeist, today! Wow that was a crazy movie!! It was actually pretty creepy. I enjoyed it a lot. I thought it was better than the original. I saw all three of the original movies. They were...ok. Not very interesting! Lisa had her heart set on watching this one, so we did. It was good and the acting was superb! Nice to get out and finally watch it. We wanted to do it yesterday but we were in the MVD too long haha :D Well I didn't do much today. Just took it easy. I'm so glad we got the bike registered yesterday! That really took so much stress off me. I can't describe how I feel now, like we just climbed this big huge mountain that we'd been

Day Twenty Four

Today was Bills Day! Omgosh it was Awesome!! Well, only in the sense that we did not have to deal with that HUGE PayDay loan that we paid off two weeks ago, WOOHOO!!! :D That really took off stress from our lives! Anyway, I did not walk this morning, nor did I do my weights. SOMETHING happened to my right shoulder. Ever since I got up this morning, it has been really painful, like something was severely out of place. I think I slept on it wrong, or maybe I just been pushing myself too hard, I don't know, but oh man it was painful all day. I had Lisa try and rub it and push it back into place or pop it because that's what it felt like it needed. All morning it was killing me. So I put off all my morning exercises. Lees and I went up town, driving right past the place we always had to stop at every payday to take care of that damn loan. NO MORE YAY!!!! So happy about that. Anyway, we went to the MVD instead so we can get Lisa's motorcycle registered. It's been way

Day Twenty Three

Did 3 miles this morning! Came home and followed it up with my Bowflex workout. I did 2 sets of every exercise with between 15 and 30 reps for each one. Then I did work on the Ab lounge, also beefing up my reps and finally I finished my morning workout by doing 22 minutes on the exercise bike. Finished most my gallon of water today! Did my full evening workout of DDP yoga, crunches, cross leg lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups, and finally my dumbbell workout. Feelin really great this whole week. I really pushed myself!

Day Twenty Two

Did my 3 miles this morning! Came home and did my outside weights workout. I did the same as before. 4 sets of dead lifts, then 2 sets of 100lb curls, and 3 sets of bench pressing. My knee was really acting up this morning so I did not bother doing my jump rope. I finished most my gallon of water today. I'm making it a goal to finish most or all of it everyday! This evening I did my full workout starting with DDP yoga, followed by crunches, cross leg lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups, and finally my dumbbell workout. I sweat like crazy, especially during the DDP yoga workout. Oh man, that really gets my body moving. It's amazing how great I've adapted to it. My body can keep up with the entire workout. I remember when I first started it, I could not keep up with the whole thing. I was so burnt out that I fell way behind. Now, however, I can really go and keep up with the entire thing. It's Awesome!! Today was a great day!

Day Twenty One

Did my 3 miles this morning! Came back and did my morning workout consisting of Bowflex, Ab lounge, and my exercise bike! I did 2 sets of every exercise on the Bowflex with 15 to 30 reps on each one. My reps on the Ab lounge were also beefed up. I also did 22 minutes, almost 23 on the exercise bike. Finished my gallon of water today! This evening, I did it kinda late so I only did my DDP yoga workout. I did not get in my follow up exercises, but that's ok. The yoga was good for me. Really got me sweating pretty bad. My body feels great now! Awesome day of exercise ;)

Day Twenty

Did my 3 miles this morning! Walked a pretty good pace too. When I got back, I did my outside weights workout. I'm not feeling sore so I knew it was time. I did 4 sets of dead lifts, just like the last time again. I did 2 sets of 100lb curls, and I did 3 sets of bench pressing. Drank plenty of water today but did not quite finish my gallon. This evening I did my DDP yoga workout, followed by crunches, cross leg lifts, elevated leg swings, and then finishing it off with my dumbbell workout. I'm feeling really good tonight. Tomorrow is my Bowflex day so I'm gonna get plenty of rest so I can be top notch tomorrow after my walk.

Day Nineteen - REST DAY

Finally a Rest Day today! Oh man, I can honestly say that I really needed today. My legs are still slightly sore. Dang I can't believe it. When I lifted those weights outside a few days back, I really tore it up and beefed up my reps. I want to build muscle and really work my body in between those Bowflex days. That's how I'm planning on doing that, but oh my gosh it really killed me. I have been sore ever since and even now, I can still feel the soreness in my legs. Crazy! My day was just spent relaxing. Watered my trees this morning and cut some weeds around the house. There is so many that popped up out there, it's insane. Oh man, last night my right foot was hurting so bad. The arch in my foot was killing me. It felt really sore and the only thing that made it feel better was pressing my fingers into it hard. I mean, it was killing me. Lisa rubbed it pretty good when she got home last night and it really did help. I woke up this morning and it felt so much bette

Day Eighteen

Started the day with my 3 miles this morning! We got back just in time too because it started pouring really bad after. I did my Bowflex workout and did 2 sets of each exercise. Again, I beefed up the reps to between 20 and 30. Still doing great there! After I did work on my Ab lounge, also doing more reps there, and finally finishing off my morning workout with 22 minutes on the exercise bike. I did great this morning. This evening I did my evening workout of DDP yoga, followed by crunches, cross leg lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups, and finally my dumbbell workout. Got the full load in today. I am so tired and sore right now. I can't wait for my Rest Day tomorrow. I really kicked butt all week long. I feel good, but still sore.

Day Seventeen - RBD

Got up pretty early and got ready. At 8am this morning, I went to court lol. It was a quick in and out. Since I only needed to renew my registration, which I did last Friday, I was able to just show them proof, sign a paper and then cruise on out. I was only in there about 5 mins. That was super quick! Lisa came with me. She's such a great friend, I'm so glad she's always there walking into the crazy with me :D Oh man I am so sore today. I did my yoga workout last night and I felt better after, but I woke up this morning feeling more sore :( *ouch* Because of that, I went ahead and put off my 3 miles for today. I am just too sore to get out there and walk. I'm like an old man hobbling around right now lol. The rest of my day was spent organizing some stuff on my computer, and cleaning up around my place. I was just too busy to get my evening workout in, but it's totally cool because I was/am really sore still. My leg is cramping up pretty bad and they feel like

Day Sixteen

Nice cloudy day today! Did my 3 miles this morning with Lisa. (On a side note, I can't wait for tomorrow morning and get that dang court thing over with! I hate that lingering over me. Been 2 weeks now just about and I'm ready to get it over with.) I did my Bowflex workout today. Did 2 sets of each exercise and just like the other day, I beefed up the reps to between 20 and 30. Afterwards, I did my workout on the Ab lounge, then finishing it off with the exercise bike, doing 22 mins. Finished my gallon of water. This evening I did my DDP yoga workout (Energy), and followed it up with crunches, cross leg lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups and then finishing it off with my dumbbell workout. I got the whole 9 yards in today. I am so so so so so so so so so sore!!! Doing the DDP yoga helped my soreness. I'm not as bad as I was earlier, but it's still there. Those weights really did me in!

Day Fifteen

Did 3 miles this morning! Came home after and did my outside weights workout. Today I really beefed it up more than ever before, mainly due to me not doing it in a while. I did 4 sets of dead lifts this time. 2 sets of 100lb curls, and 3 sets of bench presses. (My legs are so sore) I finished it off with some jump rope. Almost finished my gallon of water. Only had about a cup left, but close enough. This evening, even though I was sore, I did my DDP yoga workout, followed by crunches, cross leg lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups and finally my dumbbell workout. My body feels great today! I really pushed myself and got everything done. Oh my gosh am I sore though!!

Day Fourteen

Ok today I really got back to the grind. Did my 3 miles this morning! Oh man it was hot out there, though, because we had left a bit late. There are a million nats flying around out there disrupting the pace, but we finished it! Got back and after watering the trees, I did my Bowflex workout. I hadn't done it in a while so it felt Awesome and I really pushed myself. I did 2 sets of every exercise and I beefed up the reps. Instead of doing 15, I did 30 on most of them. After that, I worked the Ab lounge. I also beefed up the reps on that one as well. By the time I was done, my stomach was burning. Then, I finished off my workout by doing 22 minutes on the exercise bike. Finished my gallon of water today! I'm back doing that. I had stomach problems the last week or so and I think it's because my diet changed a bit and because I wasn't drinking water. That really made a difference in how I felt, so I'm back to that once again. This evening was my aunt's birt

Day Thirteen - RBD

Yup, today was a Really Busy Day!!! Well I really surprised myself today! I was/am so happy!!! This morning I woke up. We were about to do our 3 miles, Lees and I. I was just waiting for her to get ready. While I was doing that, I sat looking at my cell phone and internet. I was sad that I was gonna go off. I worried so bad about Lisa since my truck had been giving problems when trying to start it. Since that was our only vehicle, I didn't want Lisa stranded out there somewhere if the truck wouldn't start, but if our phones went off, there was no way I'd been able to reach her, or she'd be able to reach me. That was my biggest worry. Anyway, so I took a chance. Lisa mentioned it the other day about calling at&t but I didn't think it would work. So I figured, WTH it's just a question! So I called at&t and talked to this really nice and helpful woman. I told her my situation and asked her if I could just pay a portion of what I owed, then pay the rest at

Day Twelve - REST DAY

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!! Today turned out to be a rest day! Lisa asked me when I went to wake her up for our 3 miles this morning, if we could have a rest day since it was Sunday. I thought about it, then said, sure! That's when I realized it was Mother's Day! Then I was totally ok with it. I called my mom and wished her Happy Mother's Day. Then, I wanted to take Lisa out because I Always give this day to her as well. I've said this all day (something my mom doesn't understand) Mother's Day is a day for all ladies who care, love, sacrifice, put others before themselves, teach, and do their best to provide. Those qualities are the very definition of being a Mother. There are so many women out there who don't have kids, yet do every one of those things. This day is for them also! On the other hand, there are women out there who actually had/have kids who are neglectful, only caring about themselves, and who don't seem to care about their kids. Those ki

Day Eleven

I'd like to wish my grandma a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Started off my day with 3 miles! It was nice this morning. It rained last night and this morning so it was really cool out. That really helps during my walks. When it's really hot, it's really hard to motivate myself to really push it out there. That heat just weighs you down even more and you wanna just hurry up and get home, but half the time you're just draggin ass out there. On these cool mornings, I can push myself because my body retains all the energy I woke up with. That's what I love about today! My stomach has been kinda feelin funny the last several days. I know I haven't been eating the way I've been all year. The last week my diet kinda got away from me, but I'm going to get a hold of that today. I need to really target my mid-section a lot more. My stomach has gone down, but it needs more work. My legs, Awesome! My arms, Superb! My arse, Pretty Good! My neck has gone down too and

Day Ten - RBD

Today was hectic. This morning we did 3 miles! Got that in for sure. On the way home, Lees and I decided on a big decision. We planned to pay off things, rather than just drag these damn bills around for another few months. We have had loans that we are paying on for years now. It really limits us when we want to do big things because we have to think about these loans first and pay that crap off FIRST. Anyway, today we decided that if we're ever going to get out of this mud hole, we need to get our hands dirty and just crawl out of the damn thing. That means sacrifice! So, we are going to sacrifice our cell phone/internet and our Directv bill. Sadly, that means my cell phones, internet and Directv are going to be shut off. We're going to leave them both off until we can get the big things paid off, then we'll turn them back on and by then, we should be in great shape! I'm thinking they'll both be off for about a month. I think June 5th is when we'll get them

Day Nine

Started off the day with 3 miles! We came home and got cleaned up, then headed into town to get some things. That finished out our morning. I wanted to do my outside weights workout today, but I couldn't fit that in. This evening, however, I did my entire evening workout. Did DDP yoga, followed by 40 crunches, cross left lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups and finishing it off with my dumbbell workout. I definitely feel great. I wish I had gotten in my morning workout as well, but I'm not gonna beat myself up over it. I do need to get back on the ball again and start doing my daily Overkill workouts 6 days per week with One Rest Day. I think next week I'm going to try and start it up again. I've just been so busy and preoccupied this past week and a half now.

Day Eight - RBD

The other day, Lisa got her tax refund back. The sweetest thing of all, she gave the whole thing to me. She said it was a gift and I was so happy she did. It's such a blessing having her as a best friend because she does things like this all the time. So yesterday and today, we've been out having a good time and just enjoying things. Did 3 miles this morning! The rest of the day we were busy. Just doing things out in town. We went to the mall today because I wanted to buy a game, Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii. We found in at the gamestop place there, since that's the only place you can buy that game now other than online. Sux how stores don't sell wii games anymore and if they do, they're the really cheap ones that no one cares for. Anyway, the damn thing was $30 and it wasn't even new. Pre-owned! The cover looked in bad shape so I wasn't sure how the game disc was and I wasn't gonna risk it. Anyway, we just left. Started having trouble with my truck

Day Seven - RBD

There are some days when things are just way too crazy for me to really get in any kind of exercise. I always stress out on those days because to skip a workout(s) and it's not a Rest Day, makes me feel like I fell 20 steps back. I call these days RBD (Really Busy Day). It's not a Rest Day, I'll usually get atleast my 3 miles in, but nothing more because the rest of my day is crazy. Did 3 miles this morning! The rest of my day, we did so much. We were out in town all day. We watched a movie today, 'Cinderella' again. That movie is so good. Very Awesome movie. I think I could watch that movie over and over. That girl who plays Cinderella does that part so well. It's got all the fun from the old cartoon, but none of that crap singing, which I always hated about Disney movies. It also has the fun from that movie 'Ever After' with Drew Barrymore, but none of the harsh negativity that that movie came with. It's just really good. We also visited the

Day Six

Did 3 miles this morning! Came home and did my outside weights workout. 3 sets of deadlifts, 2 sets of 100lb curls, 3 sets of bench presses, and finishing it off with jump rope. My right knee is really bothering me. I don't know what happened, but I think my leg happened to hang over the edge wrong. I think, that's what may have happened. Finished my gallon of water today! This evening I did my DDP yoga. Strangely, after I did yoga tonight, my body felt really really really worn out! I was so tired and shaky, so I went outside and did some stretches. I was very wiped out. I did not finished out my evening workout, but that DDP yoga was enough. That thing is really tough, but oh man it works you out really good.

Day Five

Started the day off with my 3 miles! That was a great walk. Came home and did my bowflex workout. 2 sets of every exercise, 3 sets in about two of them. Then I followed up with work on the Ab lounge, then 22 minutes on the exercise bike. Finished my gallon of water today! This evening, I did my DDP yoga workout, followed by my 40 crunches, cross leg lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups and finally, my dumbbell workout! My body is feeling great and totally energized!

Day Four - REST DAY

****FIGHT*NIGHT**** Today was the 'Fight of the Century' between Mayweather and Pacquiao :D Dang, I so wanna watch it!! I've been really anticipating it...but unfortunately for me, I won't be able to buy it. Why? Because my damn Directv bill is "apparently" past due! I don't see how either. Apparently the new bill came out and since there is two bills out, they won't let me order any pay-per-views until after I pay the past due amount which SUX BALLS!!!!! Dammit! Well I did not do much exercise today because I was TIRED!! Ever since the other day when we moved things out of my sisters old place, I haven't been sleeping too well. Been going to be late and getting up by 6:58am so I can get my walk in before 8am, otherwise I run into all kinds of distractions down by the ditch where I walk. If I get it done early, then I can get it all done with NO distractions, which I love. Anyway, being as how I was so tired, I just made today a Rest Day. My b

Day Three

Did 3 miles this morning! Lisa came out with me. We wanted to get it done early so we could get home, then get ready for the movie. It was a good fast pace walk. Lisa did lots of running! Came home, watered all the trees, then headed out to the movie. Bad thing, we're back in another shit argument with my grandma. I swear, that woman expects us to drop EVERYTHING we're doing to please her and come to her every waking call. That pisses me off. My other grandparents are so loving and willing do things for me and Lisa. Her, she's bitter. She expects things but doesn't give like my other grandparents. It's awful. There was a time several years ago, when she actually began to treat me, literally, like a slave. I lived in town and she lived way over here. She expected me, everytime she felt like it, to drop everything I was doing and drive all the way over here just to chop her wood, bring in her coal, or something pathetic like "roll up her window." I always
