Day One Hundred Fifty Three - Recovery Day 26
Today was pretty good.
We went selling this morning and stayed out there until Lisa had to go to work. We did ok today.
After we left, we got some food then I took Lisa to work. After dropping her off, I went to the casino but again I didn't win anything big. I can make a dollar last several hours, but I can't seem to really win any big money and that's what I'm trying to do. If I could just win something big, then we can go buy groceries and all that stuff we need without having to sell all my movies, but that damn casino just doesn't pay anything. You have to be betting like $100 or more to win anything decent.
Well my stomach is feeling great, but I tell ya I can really feel it when I lift anything. Even if that something is not heavy, I can really feel it. On my right side of where the incision was made, that part is really sensitive and if I lift anything constantly, I'll feel it right there. So, I gotta be careful. Lisa told me that when you get surgery, your body won't be fully healed until about 6 months later, but even then, your body will never be 100% because they cut into it. It'll get strong again, but never be exactly the same as it was, which scares me. But, I know I can build myself back up, I just know it'll take lots of time and energy, especially when I start working myself up to exercising. I know that's going to be a chore and lots of sore painful days are going to follow.
Well tonight after picking up Lisa, we went to Walmart and got some food. I'm glad because our fridge is empty. I'm so glad our phones are back on, though. Still have lots to deal with, but I'm very glad of that.
