Day One Hundred Fifty Four - Recovery Day 27
Feeling good today!
This morning Lisa did the chores outside, which she's been doing really great at the last few days, well actually ever since I had my surgery. She's been taking care of everything and I'm so proud of her. She's doing Great! But after all that, we headed back out and did some more selling. I was out there all day! Lisa had things to do and she had class to go to so about 2pm, she left me out there and came home to get ready for class. She did not get back out there to get me until close to 6pm. So, it was a long day. I had to go to the bathroom so bad lol. Oh man I was really holding it until she got back, but we did not sell much. Again, I only made about $35 total, but twenty dollars of that had to go to a loan that we needed to pay, so that only left us with $15 :( I swear, these ppl that come out here to buy stuff are so cheap. They don't like my prices for movies. I charge $5 per movie, or 3 for $10 and these are quality movies too. Superb condition. Even the covers look good, not all faded out or crappy looking with markings all over them, none of that. My discs are not scratched because I take really great care of my movies. The Bluray's I sell for $5 each, but the newer ones, the latest ones that are still new, I sell those for $10. I also have games that I sell and TV sets. Well, my prices are WAAAY too much for these ppl that come out there. They're so damn cheap, they're expecting my movies to be like a dollar. It's not just me they complain about either, there's ppl complaining about the food prices of these ppl that are always next to me. I just hate how some are. I mean, if you can't afford to buy anything more than a dollar, why the hell are you even out there looking? Nothing costs that much anymore, unless it's junk that no one cares for. Me, I love my movies and I wanna make money off them if I'm to be selling them. These idiots think I'm just wanting to get rid of them so maybe I'll sell them for a dollar. SH*T NO, GET OUTTA HERE!!! ...is what I wanna tell them lol. Ugh that makes me mad.
Well this evening my mom and dad invited us over for dinner. They gave us some really cool things they bought in San Francisco over the weekend. Dad showed us some pictures and said that the concert AC/DC was Awesome! They seemed to have a great time out there. The really cool thing too, is that mom asked about our money situation and I told her about that crazy cell phone bill and she gave us $100 :D :D Omgosh I was so thankful. Now I don't have to go selling all my movies just to make the groceries. So tomorrow, instead of selling, we're gonna go get some groceries. Oh man, that's a big relief. She's really been watchin out for me ever since surgery.
Well I'm totally beat. We went to the casino after dinner. I didn't spend any of the money my mom gave us. Just that money I made selling today. But, nothing came out of it. I'm so sick of this damn casino up here. That place don't pay me sh*t!! I'm starting to get suspicious of them, but I think that might just be my paranoia. Well, time for sleep now.
