Day One Hundred Fifty - Recovery Day 23 - Lisa Accepted Into The Nursing Program

TODAY, SHE WAS NOTIFIED THAT SHE GOT ACCPETED INTO THE NURSING PROGRAM AT SAN JUAN COLLEGE!!!! OMG I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY FOR HER!!!!
LISA I'M VERY PROUD OF YOU!! I KNEW IT ALL ALONG THAT YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE IT!! DO GREAT AND MAKE SOMETHING GREAT OF YOUR LIFE!!!! I'LL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU WHENEVER YOU NEED ME :D :D :D :D
That was such great news! She got the letter in the mail today when we got home. And YES FINALLY MY INTERNET IS BACK ON!!!! We had a big decision to make today. This morning we headed out because today is Bills Day. We have two major loans stemming from our San Diego trip. Both of them are totally killing us on our money situation. Today, though, Lisa got a pass on one of them and she had overtime from when she pulled a double working for that stupid worthless woman that didn't come in on her shift. So her check was big! Our dang cell phone/internet bill hit $691 and that's how much I needed to pay to get the damn things turned back on. It was either that, or we pay off the big loan that we took out for San Diego. That one takes $186 every two weeks. Well, after talking about it, I decided to pay the cell phones and get them turned back on because if I didn't do that, I was afraid they'd end up adding the next months bill and it would actually be over $900 to turn them back on and there was no way we'd be able to do that. No Way!! So after a huge situation with AT&T and them refunding me $30 because, if you recall that watch Lisa bought me this past June before our camping trip to Capote Lake, well those idiots didn't take that off my bill so all summer I'd been paying for that watch. They actually owed me $60 but they said they couldn't take off the taxes I paid on those months, which was stupid. I'm really thinking of acing my at&t and going with a different cell provider. I'm paying way too much and I'm sick of it. I just would like to keep my number, but I'm going to look into it and see how I can go about it.
Anyway, now we have NO MONEY!! That bill took Everything. We just had enough to get something to eat and get a little bit of gas. I also had a little bit of money for the casino. I'm trying really hard to win something there so we can use that for our groceries. Since we have zero currency now, tomorrow I'm going to go selling and try to make some money for the things we need. I'll probably be doing that for a few days. It'll be the first time being out there since before my surgery, so that'll be cool. I just hope we get thru. Now that Lisa got into the Nursing Program, she's going to quit work in January and go to school full time. So, I need to start working again, which is why I got my hernia fixed asap. Now I'll be healed up and ready to work once she starts Nursing School. This is so exciting. I'm so thankful to God for all His many blessings in our lives.
