Day One Hundred Thirty Five - Recovery Day 8

Today was good, but all morning my incision was really acting up. It was stinging and felt irritated. Oh man and it itches all around that area. I'm trying not to scratch. When I do scratch, I never scratch the incision area, just my skin around it. Ugh it's tough though. I really can't wait to get 100% better. I've been feeling much better that now my mom is no longer coming over. It was just me and Lisa today. I'm really trying to get on her about exercising and really getting back to doing everything we both did before this whole hernia thing happened. She has completely quit exercising. She hasn't gone out running, nor has she did DDP yoga, nothing! I'm getting really frustrated because I really want to exercise, really bad! I just can't and I'll be on the shelf for the next 6 weeks but I'm definitely going to push myself everyday. I'm not just going to lay around and be lazy for 6 weeks. I'm going to really try and do my best to get up and around. Lisa, though, she's just quit. All the time in the world and the strength, not to mention the ability to run 3 miles nonstop despite her weight, and she's not doing anything. Makes me mad.

She had class today so she left me pretty early. I was ok here. Weird thing, though. There were lots of cops everywhere. She called me on her way to class and said there were cops going crazy on the highway below the casino. It looked like they were looking for someone. Then I heard a helicopter flying around pretty low. I got up and went outside and slowly walked around the front to see if I saw anything, but nope. I've no idea what was going on. Hopefully nothing serious though.

Well I'm excited about tomorrow because it's Bills Day. No, I'm not excited that it's bills day, but I am excited because I'm going to town with Lisa in the morning. It'll be my first car ride since surgery. I've just been cooped up here at home so it'll be nice to get out there and see the town. I'd also like to get a new cane. I saw these really nice canes over at Sportsmans Warehouse one time. They were really nice looking canes, but I don't know how much they are. I'd like to see them. Honestly though I'm really scared about tomorrow. We are still trying to get our bills taken care of from our San Diego trip. We have 2 loans that we're trying to pay off and it didn't turn out as easy as Lisa thought it was going to be, so that's been causing a lot of stress. I'm sure we can get thru it, we just need to have faith.

Good day, I'm going to relax on my couch. I think I'm starting to grow roots on that thing lol.
