Day Sixty Seven
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!
We started off our holiday with doing 3 miles!! How awesome is that, even on holidays we remember our exercising. That's how you gotta be. Don't let anything interfere with your workouts. Do it everyday. If you have something planned or going on, make some time to do it. You can always spare an hour, a half hour, or even twenty minutes to exercise. Just Do It....now where have I heard that before? lol
Today was Awesome! We're still trying to get some more money because of the disasterous bill day we had yesterday. We're been going to the casino with a brand new strategy and so far, it's workin pretty good. Anyway, we did that today. I also helped out my mom. She and my dad usually hold a big July 4th dinner with fireworks afterwards, every year. This morning my aunt was texting me asking if they were gonna do it. On our walk this morning, we saw my dad and brother outside working on the yard, so I figured they were going to. Anyway, after I called my mom, she said they were gonna do it but that she needed some help getting the things that she needed. So, she asked me and Lisa to get her stuff for her. We went into town, cashed a check she gave me, and got all the stuff she wanted. We even bought fireworks for the evening. It was Awesome, but oh man was it hot today :( Dang! I really need to get my A/C working in the truck. Well, it works, but I don't have any A/C coolant in there so it just blows out air. Yes I know, "go buy some" well the problem is I don't have any money to spare. Yesterday really killed us and now we don't have any money to get by the next two weeks. This whole month is gonna be like that, so not only will I not be able to get the stuff I need for my truck. I won't be able to get my car, the car I paid for yesterday, running neither. I'll have to do it after our trip next month. Until then, our money is gonna be really tight so I'm bracing myself for that.
Anyway, we didn't do all that well at the casino. We did ok, but not good enough. The dinner tonight, however, was awesome! The family gathered at my mom's. I did the prayer before dinner. It was really fun being around everyone. The only problem was that the wind really picked up this evening, but luckily it slowed way down before we did the fireworks. The rain, on the other hand, did not stop. It rained tonight and it actually got kinda chilly out there because we're all sitting outside under the rain watching everyone light their fireworks and it just got cold lol. Everybody had a great time, though. It's always good during this time of year and Lisa was off today and yesterday, but is the first in a couple of years. She's usually working on July 4th and 3rd. Sux that we missed the fireworks show last night though lol. Anyway, that was my day. Now we're home and I'm so tired. Thinkin of turning in early tonight. I am beat! Happy Holiday everyone ;)
