Day Ninety Four

Walked about a mile and a half this morning. It was nice and it was cloudy, which was cool, but I was just too worried about my stomach to go on any further, so we just turned around and came home. Lisa has been very supportive and she's telling me to just take it easy for a while, which I'm definitely gonna do. I really don't want this discomforting feeling in my stomach to get any worse, especially with our San Diego trip coming up here in two weeks. We're heading up town here in a bit. Thought I'd write this blog early. I'll be pretty busy the rest of the day. I really hope I'm ok and I hope my stomach is not getting worse :'(

Day Ninety Three

Did 3 miles this morning! I encountered a problem today. Last year, the thing that started this whole Fyrescape Journey, was a lump that I found in my stomach near my bellybutton. Anyway, I went to the hospital and the doc told me at first that it was a hernia. Well, she sent me to the surgeon a few weeks later. I saw him, and he told me just to not worry about it. He said he didn't think it was a hernia. He just said to not worry about it and that it should be ok, but that if it ever started to hurt, or whatever, to just come on back and they'd fix it up easily. He told me that because it wasn't painful or anything. Nothing to be alarmed about. Well, ever since Lisa's birthday, I've been getting more of those discomforting feelings in that area of my stomach. It's right in my bellybutton. I'm thinking it's an umbilical hernia. That's what I think it is. The doctors never officially examined it with any kind of instruments or ultrasounds or xrays

Day Ninety Two

Did 3 miles this morning! Came back and did my outside weights workout. My weight bar is breaking, so I only did half my workout. I did 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of standing presses and one set of 100lb curls. That was all I did today. I stopped because my weight bar is bent after dropping it when I'm done with my standing presses. That sux! I'll need to get another one, or else try and straighten this one out. I was just afraid because I think it's getting ready to break. Don't want that happening while I'm doing my bench presses. Working on my gallon of water. Did not finish it today, but drank a good portion of it. No evening workout tonight! We were out the whole day.

Day Ninety One

Up early this morning and did my Bowflex workout. I did 2 sets of every exercise with 15 to 30 reps each. I followed that up with 2 sets on the Ab lounge, and then finished off with 22 minutes on the exercise bike. After that, we went out and did 3 miles! Lisa walked today. Got the walk done early because we planned to sell this morning. No evening workout today.

Day Ninety

I did not get up too early this morning. We didn't go to bed until late last night. We watched World War Z. Oh man, that's a crazy movie! So I got up kinda late, meaning almost 8am, which is late for me. Luckily it was nice, cool and cloudy outside so that was very fortunate. We did our 3 miles! Lisa ran today, which I'm so proud of. I think this is her sixth day of running. I think, I'm not sure. Me, I walked a pretty good pace. We came home and I did my outside weights workout after we watered all the trees. I did 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of standing presses, 2 sets of 100lb curls, and 3 sets of bench presses. The weights, I can honestly say, are getting much easier now. When I first started up after that long break, it was really tough. I think my body is getting it's strength back so that's Awesome! Finished my gallon of water today, YAY!!! I hope to keep this up, but who knows. Tomorrow we're gonna be selling, but I'm gonna try to finish

Day Eighty Nine - REST DAY

I so needed this day! Oh man I got to sleep in this morning. That was really nice! I'm very proud that I kept up a good pace with my workouts this past week. I'm really going to stick with it from now on and try and get it all done everyday, but if I don't for some reason, I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I'm just going to keep on going and do it the next day. We went to church today! First time being back at Ideal Baptist in months. It was so cool to be back in our Heavenly Father's house. I was happy to see our old Pastor Fleetwood. He was happy to see us. Everyone there was happy to see us again. We had a great time and the message was great! Looking forward to going back next Sunday. Pastor questioned us again after service about the old situation at our old church, which honestly we're (Lisa and I) getting sick of talking about. Day Eighty Eight

Up early this morning and did my outside weights workout first! I wanted to get that over with because we planned to go selling so we'd have some money for tonight's concert. Did 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of standing presses, 2 sets of 100lb curls, and 3 sets of bench presses. I felt really worn out after because I did it as quick as possible. Soon as I was done, Lisa and I headed out and did our 3 miles! Lisa ran again, and I walked it at a great pace. We went selling after we got back. It took us a while to get out there because Lisa's mom had us on the runaround. We did pretty good, though and made a good amount of cash. This evening we went to the Michael W. Smith concert that was held at the Civic Center. Oh man, that was a really Awesome concert. For those who don't know, Michael W. Smith is a Christian singer and is known all around the world. Day Eighty Seven

Did my 3 miles this morning! Lisa came with me, or she has been coming with me, but the other day I really motivated her to do better. This is her 3rd day of running the entire 3 miles. She's doing Awesome and I really hope she keeps this up. It was nice out there today because it was cloudy. Came home and did my Bowflex workout. I did 2 sets of each exercise with 20 to 30 reps each. I also add some DDP yoga moves in there between exercises to keep my body warmed up. After bowflex, I did 2 sets on the Ab lounge, then finished off with 22 minutes on the exercise bike. Still working on finishing my gallon of water. Did my entire evening workout tonight. I did DDP yoga, the ENERGY workout. Then I did my floor exercises (crunches, elevated leg lifts, pushups) and finished it off with my dumbbell workout. This is great because this is my 3rd great day in a row and I'm hoping to keep this up. We're kinda struggling with our cash situation and we have no food in our fridge

Day Eighty Six

Started off with my 3 miles this morning! It was Awesome but so hot outside. Came home and did my outside weights workout. I only did 2 sets of dead lifts today, but the rest were the same except my bench pressing. I did 2 sets instead of 3. I cut them back because I got out there kinda late and it was just way too hot outside. I really need a shade to put my weights under. Doing it outside in my front yard, it's just too dang hot and that sun really cooks you while you're trying to pump those weights. That heat sure doesn't help when you're already tired and trying to push yourself. Finished most of my gallon of water. That's one thing I'm working up to again. This evening I finally did my DDP yoga workout. I did 'ENERGY' and followed it up with my floor workout which consists of crunches, elevated leg lifts, pushups, and finally my dumbbell workout. Day Eighty Five

Did 3 miles this morning! Got home and did my Bowflex workout. 2 sets of every exercise and between 15 and 30 reps each. I followed it up with my Ab lounge workout and finished it off with 22 minutes on the exercise bike. I'm going easy on my abs and just going to ease into it. Last time I took a break from bowflex, then came back and did a hardcore ab workout, they cramped up on me really bad and it was so painful. So, I'm slowly working back up to doing tough workouts. Finished most of my gallon of water. I did not do my evening workout because I was so tired and went to sleep, then woke up and my legs were just way tired. So, I'm gonna eat something, then head to bed. Long day!

Day Eighty Four

Did 3 miles this morning! Came back and did my outside weights workout. 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of standing presses, 2 sets of 100lb curls, and 3 sets of bench presses. Working on my gallon of water! Still haven't finished it yet, but I'll get there. Did not do my evening workout today because Lisa was off and we were just too caught up in our day to fit any kind of exercise in tonight. I really want to get back to DDP yoga every night. That really did help me. So much I need to work on.

Day Eighty Three - RBD

Oh man...I woke up this morning stressed out over our situation. I do believe God is helping me. I had a very wonderful dream last night. I dreamt I was the popular guy at this school I was going to. All the ladies liked me, but so did everyone else. I was just a very well liked guy and I was dating this really hot lady I used to like, but my friends in my dream were telling me to just let her go because she was a bad person. Anyway, I woke up and that dream really helped me with my stress. But, as the day progressed, my stress really got out of hand. I was angry at myself all morning and to make things worse, Lisa was not helping. We had a huge talk when we went to town and it just got bad. Lisa never really looked at the reality of our situation with the trip and our bills. Today she finally saw it because I had to explain to her why I was so stressed and she got really mad and almost just threw in the towel and called off our San Diego trip. It was bad! Day Eighty Two

Did 3 miles this morning! Lisa was off today so we spent the day trying to figure out what we're going to do about our money situation. I had to dig into our gas money for the San Diego trip. Oh man, it's been so stressful for me planning for that trip. Just planning it and trying to get our bills paid at the same time, it's a real chore :( Today, ugh I'm just so stressed out. That's really been cutting into my exercising also. I seem to be so stressed out lately that I can't get myself to really get my morning and evening workouts done. I really need to work on that. I hope things get better. I made so many mistakes today. I need to just sleep!

Day Eighty One - REST DAY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is my best friend's birthday!! We don't have much money because of all the San Diego savings and bills that we're taking care of, but today I did my very best to give Lisa and Awesome 30th birthday! She's 30 today!! WOW!!! Time sure flys by!! I first met Lisa when she was 12, can you believe that! Now she's 30! I'm so proud of her and I will always be there for her, as she's always there for me. We have our tough times and our arguments, but we always pull thru. When I took her in all those years ago after none of her family wanted her after her own mom kicked her out on the streets, I told her that she'll always have a place to stay with me, and I meant it. In 12 years, I never let her go. Now she's got a wonderful life and hopefully be accepted into the Nursing program this fall and start in January. Then, next year I'm taking her to New York City for her first trip out there. Hopefully it's in ce

Today we called off our workouts due to it being Bills Day! Oh man, last night I got so scared about our San Diego trip. Truth be told, I have been stressing about that trip all summer long. We've had so many things going on financially over the summer and I have been really trying to get everything paid and finding ways to save up money for the trip. I told Lisa this back at the end of May that our entire summer was going to be really tough and our money situation tight. I've had so much to deal with. Anyway, I was finally able to pal everything out, but some things did not work. We weren't going to pay a certain bill so we could use that money for our trip, but that damn place ended up pulling the money out of the bank anyway, so that really screwed us. Bottom line, after all that, I did not think we were going to be able to go on our trip due to lack of money. Day Seventy Eight

Did 3 miles this morning! Did my outside weights workout today. I did 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of standing presses, 2 sets of 100lb curls and 3 sets of bench presses. I also did some jump rope. Oh man, it was so hard trying to jump rope because my pants were wet from Lisa spraying me while I was watering the trees. I can't tell you how incredibly frustrating it is trying to jump rope with wet pants on..ugh! So, I couldn't do very much, which sucked. Finished my gallon of water today! Day Seventy Seven

Today was Awesome!! I changed things up pretty good. This morning I woke up about 5:45am. I washed up, then I did my Bowflex workout. I was sleepy still, but once I started working out, my body woke up and I did great! Plus, it was Awesome doing that while it was cool. I opened the window and it was really nice. I did 2 sets of every exercise with 15 to 25 reps each. Then, I did 2 sets on the Ab lounge, and then I finished it off with 22 minutes on the exercise bike. I felt Awesome afterwards! Then I woke Lisa up and waited for her to get ready. We left soon after and did our 3 miles! Did my first full workout today in over 2 weeks :D So proud of myself!! Did 3 miles this morning! Came home and did my outside weights workout. Did 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of standing presses, 2 sets of 100lb curls, and 3 sets of bench presses. Finished off my morning workout with some jump roping. Finished my gallon of water today! This evening I did DDP yoga 'ENERGY'. After, I did my floor workout consisting of 40 crunches, leg lifts, elevated leg swings, pushups, and then I finished it off with my dumbbell workout. Day Seventy Five - REST DAY

Today was a genuine Rest Day! Oh man the last two days of doing my outside weights, my legs are sore as heck!!! Seriously, I could barely get off my couch without feelin tons of pain. This is what I hate about not doing my weights workout consistently. I take more than a week off, then when I finally get back to it I'm really sore afterwards. Anyway, hence today! Wanted to rest my body up because tomorrow I'm lookin to get back to the grind. Daily two a day workouts starting with my 3 miles! I really wanna get back to it because I think I've taken enough break from all that. Went to church this morning. We actually went back to our old church, the one we left in January. All I can say is, well the pastor wasn't there. Apparently he was out of town today, so there was a sub there. Did 3 miles this morning! When we got back, I did another outside weights workout. We got a really late start on our walk, so by the time we were done watering the trees, it was so hot. I did all four sets of my dead lifts, though, and I did some standing presses. After that, I was done! Omgosh it was so hot out there! My head was pounding and my legs and arms were pretty sore. So, I called it for the day. I do feel like I got lots of work in on my legs. Oh man, at this point my legs are so sore. I have a hard time getting around. Finished most of my gallon of water today. Day Seventy Three

Did 3 miles this morning! On a personal note, my feet are killing me. These damn cheapo Walmart shoes that I'm wearing are crap. My feet hurt so bad. I've been doing 3 miles everyday for the last two weeks and I've gotta say, my feet have been thru some sh*t. Those shoes are so damn thin at the bottom, I can feel every pebble that I step on and every sharp rock or dip in the road. I might as well be walking around barefoot. I wanna wear my other shoes, but they stink really bad so I'm gonna go ahead and wash them by hand because I can't stand walking in those other shoes anymore. I wake up every morning and I can barely walk. I used to have this problem several years ago when I was living in town. Back then, I only wore sandals. That was it, even in the winter time. As you know, sandals have no foot padding. You're basically walking on a thin flat rubber surface. So, that really hurt my feet bad. It also messed up my knees. Shoes are very important and I had t

Day Seventy Two

Did 3 miles this morning! I've decided that it is now time to get back into my daily training. So, tomorrow I'm going to do my outside weights workout, then Saturday I'm going to do my Bowflex workout. I'm gonna rest on Sunday, then starting Monday on thru Saturday I'm going to pick it back up daily, doing my 3 miles and then my morning workouts, finally finishing the day off with DDP yoga and my floor workouts. I wanna get back into that being as how it's only 5 weeks left until we go to California for our last vacation of the Summer. Just to note, today it got cloudy and rained a bit. Mostly it was cloudy, but I'd like to point out that it is actually kinda cold outside tonight. How strange! It was nice, honestly, but ya pretty cold out there. I'd say it must've dropped to 64 degrees, maybe even 60. Anyway, I'm drinking most my water. Today I drank about half of my gallon. I'm gonna get back to that again also starting tomorrow. I'

Day Seventy One

Did my 3 miles this morning! I gotta admit, my body is craving more, but honestly it's been good to just take it easy. I'm still eating fine. Haven't let that slip or anything. I'm drinking my water everyday. I haven't finished it yet today, but I'm getting there. Going to the casino again today and try and win a little bit of money to get our groceries and gas. We're really milking every bit of money we have and this entire month will be like that too. We're really lookin forward to the San Diego trip next month :D

Day Seventy

Did 3 miles this morning! Drank lots of my water, but did not finish the whole thing. I really need to start doing that daily. Lisa is running again, she's starting to do more. Today she ran an extra mile after we got back. On her days off, which is today and tomorrow, she's gonna try and run a mile after we get done with our 3. I'm very proud of her. I want her to push herself everyday. She's been complaining of joint pain in her leg the last few days. I'm trying to get her to go to the hospital to get it looked at, but she's stubborn as crow. Hopefully I can get her to go eventually though. She really needs to be working on her health. She's on Fyrescape just like me, only problem with her is that she never really took it as serious as I did. I've been busting my ass everyday since April 29, 2014. Day Sixty Nine - REST DAY

I sat this one out today. My knee was really aching. I'm such an idiot, yesterday without knowing it, I twisted my knee and popped it. I used to have a really bad habit of doing that some years back. I would wake up in the morning and twist my knees, both of them, and pop them. Well, that really took its toll on my after a while. My knees got really weak so when I first started Fyrescape back in April of last year, it was tough to really get my knees going great everyday. Anyway, I stopped doing that, but yesterday without really knowing, I twisted my knee and popped it. Immediately afterwards, I thought "oh sh*t" and last night, oh man it was aching pretty bad. So, I decided no walking today. I'm going to rest my legs and hopefully rest them up enough to be ready to roll tomorrow. NOTE: DO NOT EVER POP ANYTHING ON YOUR BODY. NOT YOUR KNEES, YOUR HANDS, YOUR ARMS, YOUR BACK...NOTHING!!! TRUST ME, YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER ON. THAT POPPING WILL REALLY TAKE ITS TOLL ON

Day Sixty Eight

Did our 3 miles this morning! Lisa has been so good about getting this done. She's up and ready to go most mornings. Some days I'll have to go to her room and practically drag her out of her bed to get her movin, but most days she's up and ready on her own. This past week of just doing 3 miles and skipping out on my morning and evening workouts, well it's really helped my body kinda mellow out. I've really been working hard the last few months. It's great and I really feel the changes in my body. I'm getting leaner and you can really tell in my chest, as it's gotten hard and firm. My legs have really gotten strong. I just felt like I needed to take a break from all of that. I'd get up to exercise in the morning and my body would just feel worn out. I needed to just let my body ease up for a bit, so this break I gave myself is really good, I think. It's helped out. Also, it's not like last year when I hurt my knees out in Chama. That time,

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!! We started off our holiday with doing 3 miles!! How awesome is that, even on holidays we remember our exercising. That's how you gotta be. Don't let anything interfere with your workouts. Do it everyday. If you have something planned or going on, make some time to do it. You can always spare an hour, a half hour, or even twenty minutes to exercise. Just Do It....now where have I heard that before? lol Today was Awesome! We're still trying to get some more money because of the disasterous bill day we had yesterday. We're been going to the casino with a brand new strategy and so far, it's workin pretty good. Not only that, Wednesday we took my phone to the Cell Doctors to get it fixed, as it was crap and the whole screen was not working. Still don't know what happened to it, but we also had to pick that up this morning and that was $139 :'( So then we had to pay for our electric bill and oh my gosh we are so broke. I don't know how we're gonna get by the next two weeks, but I know God will provide and we will be ok one way or another. I'm just happy my phone is working and that we paid Lisa's mom for the car. Day Sixty Five

Did my 3 miles this morning! Finished my gallon of water today. I'd just like to point out that this morning was the release of the official trailer of the new Rocky movie, 'CREED'. Well, it's not really a Rocky movie, but he will be in it. It's a new movie about Apollo Creed's son who seeks out Rocky to train him to be a boxer. I have been waiting for it over two years now, ever since I heard of it. Sly Stallone released the trailer and it looks so good. I'm a huge Rocky fan and I think this movie is really going to be a continuation of the story but thru the son of Apollo. I can't wait!!! But, it's not coming out until November 25 :'( Ah well, it'll be a good one though!

Day Sixty Four

We did 3 miles this morning! Then, I got home and did my outside weights workout. I just felt like doing it today. We had to get ready to go see, Terminator Genisys, but before I wanted to get some weights in. While Lisa was getting ready, I did 4 sets of dead lifts, 2 sets of standing presses, and 1 set of 100lb curls. After that I had to stop because I saw that we had less than an hour to get ready and get our butts across town to the theater. So I stopped and went inside to shower. Luckily, we made it just in time. There weren't that many ppl in the theater either. I was surprised by that. Must not be too many Terminator fans in this town. Me, I'm a die hard terminator fan and Arnold has been my hero since I was a kid, so any movie he is in I will love, except that stupid one he did a long time ago called, Junior.
