I am not feeling too hot today. My stomach right around my belly button is really starting to bother me. It feels like a cramp that won't go away. I know it's my hernia, or I believe it is because it was just rock hard around that area this morning. Oh man, I hope I can last until Wednesday. I'm afraid of it getting worse either later tonight or tomorrow. So I'm really taking it easy. The only problem I had today was I had to climb up on the roof and try and fix a problem with my A/C. That damn thing has another problem with the floater. Now I need to get a new one, but I don't have the money to do it now so someone will have to do it for me. Right now, I need to clean my body with those cloths for surgery. I gotta do that tonight and tomorrow night. Tomorrow is my grandpa's birthday! Today wasn't busy, as in working busy! This morning Lees and I headed into town and got some groceries with what little money we have. We're are struggling so bad with that. Sux too because my surgery is coming up in just 3 days and we have no food. But, I was able to fit in a few things and some gas for the truck. Now this entire evening I spent at the damn casino. Why, well because they were giving away prizes all evening long. I had to be there at 5:30pm. At 6, 7, 8, and 9 they were doing money prizes. I definitely threw my hat into the bin, hoping I would win so we could have money. At 9pm was when they were giving away the grand prize which was your choice between a Toyota truck or car. Oh man, I wanted that. Not only that, but 4 ppl with $500 and the 5th person wins the car. So you're a winner no matter what. Well...I didn't win. Not once! I wasted my time. Ugh I'm so angry. I did not exercise today! I'm coming up on my surgery date here in a couple days so Lisa wanted me to live it up lol. We went to the casino. I did have a good time. I ALMOST won a big jackpot, in fact I almost won about 7 of them. DAMMIT!!! I really hate when that happens. You almost win, but don't. Story of my life! Oh man...today was Bills Day :'( Let me tell you, that San Diego trip was worth it! Oh man we had so much fun out there. But, the sacrifices that were made and those loans we got for it, well now we have to deal with all of that. Honestly, I didn't know how it was going to go, but I was sure one way or the other, we were gonna be ok. Turns out, my Directv pulled a fast one on me. They apparently pulled money out of my bank on the 20th. That money was supposed to be for the damn car rental. Again, apparently that girl lied to us over there. She told us that she pulled out the money back when we first picked up the damn car on the 15th. Then she told us she pulled out $250. So when we got back, the bill was actually $307. So we raced to the bank and put money in to cover the extra. Here, they didn't end up pulling out the money until the 24th. Yup, I took a rest day today! I am so super sore!! I mean, SORE!!! My back is so bad I can hardly lift myself up off the bed. My arms are sore, but my feet are really bad. There was no way I could do 3 miles this morning. Yesterday, all day I was cutting and lifting and walking. Just so much and now my body is feeling it. So, today I've just been taking it easy. Trying to get caught up on everything! I really miss San Diego! That trip was so much fun, I can't begin to describe. I'm just so glad I got to take Lisa to the ocean and see her swim in it and enjoy it for the very first time. That was truly my goal and the best part of my trip. I've promised to give that to her for many years and now, that promise has been fulfilled. I'm so happy about that! Well, I'm going to try and walk tomorrow. Did 3 miles this morning! I was going to do it by myself, but it was raining. Woke up to thunder and rainfall, which was beautiful! Lisa got up and decided to come with me so we took the dogs out and walked a great walk. Nice and cool out there! I really need to get back to drinking water. I have really been lagging on my water intake since our trip. I think my body really needs that. Once my surgery happens, I think I'm going to just stick to water for a few days afterwards. So since it was so cool outside and raining, I decided to start some yard work. I have a ton of weeds everywhere. So I spent the rest of the morning and afternoon out there cutting weeds. I cut so much and cleared out so many. When we got home from San Diego, I swear a jungle popped up everywhere around here. So I got rid of so much, but dang it feels like I didn't make a dent. MY SURGERY DATE IS SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEK, SEPTEMBER 2ND WOOHOO!!!! Yup, that is right!! The visit today went Awesome!! Oh and before I get into the visit, let me tell you what the surgeon said to me. When he walked in, he right away told me about the surgery and then he said and I quote, "You're a big guy, you probably weigh about 260 or 270 right?!" HA, SEE I TOLD YOU!! I really don't look like I weigh that much. The assistant doctor who's going to be assisting in the surgery told him my actual weight. He looked at me, then seemed kinda surprised. Then he said to me, "You carry it really well!" That made my day, man. I knew I didn't look like that. Lisa tells me all the time, but of course I never believe her. So yeah, that's what was said. So about the surgery, they're gonna fix my Umbilical Hernia. The doctor was happy and understanding that I wanted to get it fixed. He told me how it was going to go and explained the whole procedure...

Ok, now that I've had all my fun and that our Awesome California trip is passed, time to get back to business. I need to get my hernia fixed. As I've mentioned, it really was bothering me after those rides at Universal Studios. I had already made the decision to get it fixed soon as we got back from Cali. It's an issue that has really bothered me the entire time we were out there, especially when I couldn't ride that last Mummy ride. So today I got the ball rolling, which I'm so happy about. Lees and I went to the hospital this morning. She also did her visit as well. She got her blood pressure checked and the doc wants her to work on her weight and start keeping a journal of everything she eats. I'm so glad she finally went in. I had been trying to get her to do that for years. So now, she's gotta watch her eating and she's gotta go back in sometime in October to see if her blood pressure came down any. If not, they're gonna put her on medication ...

Got up this morning and took the dogs walking! I hope the river is fine. They opened up the waters while we were gone, over in town. But here, just across from town, it's technically the Navajo Nation and the NN President hasn't opened up our rivers here. He's not fully convinced they're safe. But I think they're ok. Anyway, I took Cody and Cooper down there. We did our 3 miles! It was nice to be back out there, but oh man I miss San Diego. Oh but I missed my dogs as well and it's great to be here with them. Things are getting back to normal. Well, now to deal with my problems now that the trip is over. After we got home, I called the hospital to see about making an appointment. I need to get ball rolling with my hernia. I don't know when or if they'll be able to get it fixed anytime soon, but the sooner I start, the sooner I can get it over with. HELLO HELLO HELLO!!!! We are back from California!!! All I can say about our trip....A M A Z I N G!!!!! We had such an Awesome time out there, OMG!!! The ocean was Beautiful!!! Sea World was Awesome!!! Universal Studios was Unbelievable!!!! There are so many attractive people out there and the women are HOT!!! Oh man, they are so hot out there! So last Saturday after we left, which wasn't until after 1pm lol. We headed out and arrived in Flagstaff that evening. I got gas at the Sams Club there, then headed down to Phoenix. We stopped at a rest area down near Phoenix. Oh man talk about HOT!!! It is super hot down there. People always say that New Mexico is the desert...well they're idiots!!! We got to Phoenix after it got dark. We just rolled right thru the city. Our goal was Yuma, AZ. We cruised all the way down and we arrived in Yuma at about 11:30pm. We got a hotel there. WOW 11:30 AND I'M STILL AT HOME :O But no need for alarm. WE GOT THE CAR WOOOHOOO!!!!! Oh my gosh it's beautiful. We got a Hyundai Elantra. Definitely a newer model car. We got so lucky with this. We were going to have to go out there in a tiny Fiat car :( Oh man, that car was way WAY too small. So we chose the mini van, which was also available. Just before we signed the papers, this beautiful Elantra came rolling in. Someone returned it, so she gave us the option of that. She said it was Awesome on gas and right away, I said YES! So we have that car now. The girl at Enterprise was, I believe, new. She didn't do anything they said they were going to do when I first called and made the reservation back in June. All the stuff they said they required, that girl did not ask for any of it. So that was weird. Anyway, it actually ended up costing us more because we needed to put on windshield insurance. That totally sux, so that pulls an extra hundred dollars out of my wallet. ...

And yet another busy day lol. We needed to get all our stuff that we're taking on the trip TOMORROW!!! Oh man I can't believe it. So this morning we headed up town and got the things we needed. Also, we got our second loan as well. This was the loan that was going to pay for the Sea World and Universal Studios tickets, which they did. Soon as Lisa went to work today, I got in there and purchased them online. Omg I actually have tickets to both Sea World and Universal Studios. I can't believe we're going out there!! I have not been to Universal since I was about 14 or 15. I haven't been to Sea World since the summer of 2000. Long time! I've been wanting to take Lisa to the ocean for years, and now we have the money, and if tomorrow goes like I'm planning, we'll have a great vehicle. Oh I just hope that all goes well. Another busy day today! This morning grandpa and I went to town. I bought some parts for my job today. I bought a new shut off valve, as well as some pipe and some connecters to fix everything up. Dang that stuff is expensive. So I had about $200 in emergency cash. Turns out, this was the emergency. That money was supposed to be used for our trip, so technically this was it. I hadn't really realized it right away. I was thinking that all the money we took out for our trip, ended up going to the damn waterline. But then, that's when it hit me. I'm so thankful we took out that loan and had extra money, including this emergency cash. I can't imagine how much of a hole we would've been in had we not had the extra cash. I'm very thankful!!! Ok, today was an insane day! First off, yesterday afternoon before we went to the movie, Lisa was doing DDP yoga. I noticed she wasn't doing some of the moves right. So I showed her. That wasn't the best idea, only because my stomach has really been bothering me. That's why I've really been lagging on my exercises. I borrowed an ice chest, chair, water jug and water bottle from my dad so we're planning on getting a bunch of sandwich meat and bread to eat on the way out there to Cali. Kinda save on money that way. My dad then told me to get a road atlas. So today, Lees and I went up and got that. I also needed to change my door knob and locks because the ones on there now are crap! You have to really jimmy the key to get it into the latch and door knob to unlock them. My brother is going to be watching my place while I'm gone, so I wanna have all that stuff ready to go. I also bought some screws and I need to fix up some things around here before this weekend. This morning..ugh, I was going to do my 3 miles! I really feel like I'm ready to start exercising again, especially after those weights I did yesterday. So today I set my alarm for 6:45am. This whole summer has been so tight. I haven't been able to do anything or buy anything that I wanted all because we've been so tight with money. I've been spending each month since June organizing all our bills and getting everything set so we can have money to go on this trip. Literally I've been planning it all summer long. So once it's past, I'll finally be able to do all the things I wanted all summer, one being getting my car running and getting a new engine in Lisa's car so she can have that running. My truck has really taken a pounding all summer because it's the only vehicle we've had. So stressful. So we sold today and made a bit of cash. We did pretty good. Did 3 miles this morning! Nice walk. Great to get that "day after" feeling out, by that I mean yesterday was my birthday and it was just a total free for all with eating and having fun. Today, back to reality! That was all the exercise I did today. I needed the walk though, because I got to vent all my frustrations out and Lisa listened to everything. We resolved a lot, which was great. I was just very disappointed yesterday. So many things did not go the way I had hoped, but I know I'll be ok. Things get very complicated in my life, but I have to just turn my head and not let it bring me down, which is very hard to do. The rest of my day was pretty easy going. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! Of course, today I did ZERO exercising! Well, honestly I'm still just taking it easy. I am so scared of making my stomach worse before our San Diego trip. Plus, I feel that as a Birthday gift to myself, I figured I'd take some time off. I've been really tired lately of exercising. Waking up everyday, going on my 3 miles, then coming home and doin my Bowflex/Ab lounge/Exercise bike and then doing DDP yoga, my floor exercises, and my dumbbell workouts every evening. Then the in between days doing my outside weights workout. Dang, seriously that's a lot of work. So yeah, I need this break. I'm just gonna take it easy for a few days now. My stomach feels fine. This morning we walked, but we did not get too far. Ugh, it wasn't a very good morning. I was just feeling not good. So, we maybe did about 1 1/2 miles today, that was it. It was not a fast pace walk either. But, tomorrow is my birthday, so hopefully that goes good. This evening we went to grandpa's to watch IMPACTwrestling. It was great! Nice to spend time with the grandparents. Just before we left to come home, grandma gave me an early birthday present, which was from both of them. They gave me a check for $75. I was so happy!!! Today was a really busy day! We went selling this morning and we were out there all day! We did pretty good. Made a good amount of money, but dang that money goes really fast. You get gas, then get something to eat, and you find that a huge chunk of that money you spent the whole day making, is gone! So, that's kinda frustrating. The other thing was we ate a lot today lol. Not good, but we did not eat anything this morning before we left. Once we were out there and made a bit of money, we bought ourselves some food. I got a BBQ meal from this guy selling. Lisa got a Navajo Burger. Then we both shared a Fry Bread earlier in the day. Oh man, basically we ate a lil too much today. So this evening we were super full and it wasn't good. I really don't want this becoming a habit lol. Just those day before my birthday free-for-all's I suppose. Anyway, it was a good day!

Did 3 miles this morning! Oh man it was hot out there. We woke up late, so by the time we were out there walking, it was sunny and hot, but we got it done. My stomach feels Awesome, thank the Lord!! I'm so happy and relieved that it's doing good. I haven't felt any discomforting feelings at all, yesterday and all day today. I think resting up for the last two days was really good. I don't want to slack on my exercising, though. I don't wanna just sit around and do nothing for the next month. No way! So, I'm going to do my 3 miles at least every morning from now on. I will not, however, do any kind of exercise that'll put any kind of strain or pressure on my stomach. I truly believe I have an umbilical hernia. It's not bad and there is no pain whatsoever, but I do know that if it's not repaired, it can turn into an incarcerated hernia, which is really Bad and Super Painful. Yes, took another rest day, just to ease my body. I don't want this thing getting any worse. Well, some good news, my stomach hasn't been acting up at all today. Haven't felt it once today! That is really relieving to me. I've been so stressed about it all weekend. One thing about me is that I'm a very paranoid person. That's one big problem I was working on during my first year of Fyrescape. That's always been a problem for me. Today I had a really bad problem. We went to Sams Club this morning and I went to customer service to check on my card. Last time I tried to get gas over there, it said my card was invalid. So I took it to customer service and they checked it. Everything was good, but they gave me a different card anyway. They took my picture :O Yeah oh no, I'm a really crappy picture taker. No exercising whatsoever today! My stomach is feeling a lil bit better. I did feel that discomforting feeling a few times this morning, but it came and went. We went selling some stuff this morning and we were out there until about an hour ago. Now we're home and Lisa headed to work already. I'm just going to take it easy the rest of the day. So much stress in my head right now. I'm trying to not be paranoid and worried, but it's just consuming me every minute. I have gone all year with no bad feelings, or pain in my stomach. So it's been terribly frustrating to believe that it's happening NOW just two weeks before our big summer trip. Ugh, maybe I'm just focusing on it too much :(
