Day Two Hundred

WOW 200 days into Fyrescape 2!!!

This is indeed a milestone in my Journey! Two hundred days in on my second year. This is so cool. I have accomplished so much. I haven't been exercising much the last two months but that's totally because of my recovery and I'm fine with that. The doc wanted me to not do ANYTHING for 8 weeks and I did exactly what he said and the reason for that was so I could come back strong and keep on with my Journey. I will gladly sacrifice two months of Fyrescape 2 in order to recover, but honestly I don't see it as a "sacrifice" but rather an actual part of it. I got myself healthy and fixed my hernia. That is something that my life and my health really needed!! So I'd say that so far, Fyrescape 2 has been a HUGE success!!! I'm going to keep on keeping on and start my workouts on a daily basis again. I just have to get thru the holiday season and start working again. It's going to get much harder in our lives once Lisa starts Nursing School.

I slept in today. I was so tired! I woke up to a VERY AMUSING and FUNNY scenario though. As I was laying in my bed this morning, I kept hearing a banging sound coming from somewhere in the house. I knew Lisa was hammering something, but I wasn't sure what. So I get up, wash up really good, then I get dressed and come into the living room. I walk to the kitchen and there is Lisa, on her back under the sink trying to fix it HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D :D :D :D
Omg so funny!!! I ask her, Lees what the hell are you doing?! She says, Trying to fix the sink. She cleaned out the pipes and unclogged it because she said while she was doing dishes, the water wouldn't drain. She had absolutely no idea what she was doing lol. You're supposed to screw the pipe on and she couldn't do it so she was trying to hammer them together hahahaha :D I freaked out and got after her. I got under there and started doing it myself. She sat there all sad but I assured her that I was not mad at her. I told her I thought it was really cute to see her on her back trying to fix the sink lol. I got such a kick out of that. I couldn't stop laughing. I'm telling her, 4.0 college girl and future star Nursing student, Lisa, almost broke our sink trying to fix it LOL. Oh man she is never going to live that one down :D So funny!! I got it on there though. She just didn't have the pipes lined up right which is why they wouldn't screw together. I'm glad she didn't completely break anything.

For a while there, our financial situation made me want to just sacrifice everything, including the holidays. I didn't think we were going to get a hold of our financial situation in time for Lisa to start Nursing School. I was very sad about that. But this morning, I got a call from my dad and he asked me if I could watch over their place because they were going to Albuquerque for the weekend. I said yes. But that really made me think. We were planning a trip to Albuquerque on the 12th and 13th of December. Whenever we have a trip, we have to plan and save. My parents, they can pick up and go anytime they want. That made me want to change my ideas. So, I came up with a plan to pay off everything and STILL have a great Christmas AND still go to Albuquerque. So I told Lisa later on and she was very happy. This coming Friday, I'm planning to pay off our San Diego loan and then the following payday, we're going to save up for Albuquerque and start with our Holiday shopping. It's going to be great! I have it all figured out. It's going to be tough the next couple weeks, but after that, it's going to get better. I'm looking forward to it all ;)

I loaned my cousin my drill today. He wanted to do some work on his ride so I let him borrow my drill. We talked a lot and that conversation really made me think. I have a wonderful family and I'm so thankful how things turned out. Dang that day when I walked home from the casino, I thought I was in the dumps, but now I realized that everything was/is Awesome! I'm so glad how things turned out. You just need to have faith always!

This evening I walked over to my mom and dad's place to feed their dogs. Lisa had my truck so I walked. It was late, not until after 9pm. I took Cody with me. He is such a great guard dog. It was black outside because there was no moon and Cody stayed right next to me the whole walk over there and he waited for me outside their fence while I fed their animals. He was such a good dog. I was so proud of him. Usually he runs off and just goes crazy when we go on walks, but this time he stayed right there with me. I didn't have to worry about anything. I'm so proud of him.

Also today I cleaned out my storage and restacked everything and I cleaned up my yard. I was out there late doing all of it. I'm just glad I got it done. I hear it's going to snow or rain again. I wish it would snow but I don't know, it never seems to around here. Oh well, it's still nice out there ;)
