Day Two Hundred Six - RBD

Today is the dreaded BILLS DAY!!! ugh :(

Well before I get into the day, we had a very bizarre night! I was asleep at 2am this morning, but then I get a call on my cell phone. It was from my parents house. So being as how it was so late, I was pretty worried because they NEVER call me that late unless it was an emergency. So I answered it. I said 'hello' about 3 to 5 times but no one said anything. So I hung up! Then, they called back like a minute later and once again I picked it up. I kept saying 'hello' over and over, but no one said anything. So I hung up, then immediately after, they called again. This time, I heard my brother's voice when I answered the phone. I said 'hello' over and over and over, but the freakin idiot didn't say a damn word to me. So at this point, I thought he was screwing around and I was actually thinking that he was drunk and calling me drunk. I was pissed because he woke me up. I was grouchy and cold. But he kept calling me. This time, I just put my phone on vibrate because I was trying to get back to sleep. Still, he called and called. The kid must've called me over 20 times. So finally, I got up because he finally, after the 20th call, left me a voicemail. In the voicemail, he told me that he was sorry to be calling so late, but that there were two vehicles parked outside their gate and shining a light on their house. They were freaking out! Now my first thought was, Why wasn't my dad doing anything? Dang if it were my place, I'd be chasing those shitheads off especially if it were the middle of the freakin night! So I got up and went to Lisa's room and woke her up. I told her the situation and I kept looking over toward my parents place but I didn't see any lights or anything suspicious there. So I waited a while to see if my brother would call again, but he didn't. I honestly thought he was drunk or something weird like that. But I figured I'd better go check on them. Lisa wanted to come with me so we bundled up and headed over there in the truck. My truck has no heater so I had to scrape the ice off the windows. I drove over there and opened their gate and went in. I knocked on the door and my brother answered it. I tell him "What the heck is going on?" He tells me the story again. This time, my mom came around the corner and confirmed. Then I knew they were serious. I thought my idiot brother was making up crap until I talked with my mom. Still, I wondered why my dad didn't do anything. Strange! Anyway, I patrolled their area. I drove around and made sure there were no vehicles lurking around. I shined my lights all over and looked around. Nothing. I didn't see anyone. My brother came with me and Lisa while I searched. I didn't see anyone anywhere nearby so we went back. I walked inside with my brother and told him to call me again if anyone else came by. He said ok and then I left. I kept an eye on their place the rest of the morning. I drove around once more before we headed home to see if there were anyone, but there was nobody. So, Lisa and I went home. We went inside and I started up my stove because it was freezing. I kept an eye on their place. I saw some vehicles go down to the river, but I didn't see anyone go over to my parents place. I didn't go back to bed until 5am. So Lees and I both only got bout 2 hours of sleep, then we had to get up and do work for grandpa.

At 7am, I got up and started getting ready. Lisa was up also. We went to grandpa's to pick up his trash. Omg I was so tired, both of us were. When we loaded up, I went inside and told Grandpa and Grandma the bizarre events from last night. They were wondering why my dad didn't do anything. That is just so strange! I kept thinking the same thing, so I don't know. Kinda fishy there, but I'm not going to say anything. I'm just glad I was there to patrol the area. Anyway, we hitched up the trailer of trash to my truck, like always, and headed back here to the house. We had this big couch in our storage that we'd been keeping around since our townhouse days back in the early 2002 and 2003 on up. Well we threw it away today :( I never wanted to, but we needed to get rid of it because the cats tore it all up and there were probably a million spiders living in there. It would've been a hassle to clean up so we just got rid of it. That took most the morning. When we were done, we took everything back to grandpa's and then we came home, got ready and headed out again.

Well a slight bit of good news there. We FINALLY got that big San Diego loan paid off today! Yup, that was in my plan so I sacrificed everything to get that damn thing erased from our existence. I was so glad too. I mean, we're going to be struggling the next two weeks because it took ALL of our money because what was left had to go to our dang cell phones to keep them on. I also have to come up with $111 by the end of this month to pay for my propane bill and an additional $171 to pay for the remaining amount on my cell phone bill. So yeah, that's going to put us in a bind right now, though I have faith and I know we'll get thru this tough time. I'm just glad we got that loan paid off. Now we have One more big one, and finally our last one to get rid of. But that last one I can handle that one sometime next year. The second one I'm planning to pay off in January, after the holidays. So that'll be good too and all before Lisa starts Nursing School.

The rest of our day was ok. I took Lisa to eat at Captain D's. That was a celebration dinner for paying off our loan. After I took her to work, I went up to the casino for my weekly tradition. I thought sure I was going to be there alone, but instead Grandpa and Grandma were both up there too. That was quite the surprise!! I was very happy to see them. We talked and Grandpa took us to eat there at the casino. It's so fun being around them. When we went there, I only had about 60 bucks, but I got slightly fortunate and came out with $90. Not a big difference, but it'll definitely help out. Grandpa wanted me to try more and I really did, but given all my past casino experiences over the last two weeks, I have no faith in my luck. I was sure I was going to lose it all and I did not want to do that crap all over again :( No way No how!! Dang, Grandpa though had all the luck. He won $480 tonight! I was amazed! I'm very happy for him and grandma. They can really use that money to help them out. I wish I could win that kind of money because now, especially after our bills day, I could really use it, but I know that God will take care of us. I just enjoyed being around my grandparents tonight. That's what was important! We ate there tonight and oh man I was still so full from the lunch Lees and I had, so it was really hard to eat. Still, I enjoyed it.

Right now I'm back home and I'm super ready to just relax. I gotta go pick up Lisa later on. Dammit I'm really trying to get my heater running, but it's just so hard because I don't have any money. That is what's holding me back from everything right now. Anyway, it was a great day!!
