Day Two Hundred Twelve

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

Today was a wonderful holiday :D
This morning I took Lees over to my parents place so she could help my mom cook Thanksgiving dinner. Me, I was so flippin tired and sleepy. I wanted to sleep so bad. So I dropped her off, then came back home and lay back down for a bit. After an hour or so, I got up and showered. Dinner was at noon. Around 11am I went over there. I helped out a bit, then Lees and I left to go get some Diet soda and ice cream. When we got back, my grandparents were all there as well as a family friend from church. We sat down and had a delicious dinner together. That was so great!

After we ate, my grandpa, my dad, and I went out and looked at the Christmas float that we'd been working on. We all talked about it and exchanged ideas. When they left, I suggested that we all go to the movies so my mom and dad gave me some money so we could all go watch, CREED, which was what I had wanted to do ever since I heard the movie was coming out on Thanksgiving. So Lees and I left, we went up town and bought tickets. After that, we went over to Lisa's aunt's place where they were having their dinner. Lisa visited with them for a while, then we came home and watched 'Scrooged' while we waited for the movie to start.

This evening we met my parents and my brother over at the theater. It was packed in there and we almost didn't find a seat but something really cool happened. While we were standing at the entrance looking up to find two seats, I noticed a woman waving down at us. I looked up at her and she held two fingers up and waved at me, then she pointed to two seats next to her. So I told Lisa and we both walked up there. That nice lady and her daughter opened up two seats for both Lisa and I. We were so happy and thankful. They were great seats too, right in center area toward the top. Great view of the movie! We had a great time. Once again, it was such an Awesome movie!! This time we really got to enjoy it because the first time Lisa was just worried about her scholarship thing. It was a great day! Now, we're home and just watching some Christmas movies.

Today was an Awesome holiday. We enjoyed it so much and now the road to Christmas starts tomorrow. Black Friday kicks it off. We're planning on checking out some stores out there and see what we see ;) Goodnight!

Did 3 miles this morning again! Feels great. My feet don't hurt. I mean, I'll feel it but it's not painful like when I first started walking after recovery. They hurt so bad after I sat down a while. That was crazy! So now, I feel great and things are much better. Also my right knee hasn't been feeling crappy in a while now. I feel great! I want to start using the Bowflex and getting back to DDP yoga so bad, but I am so afraid. You know, my recovery took longer than expected. I have said this whole time that my recovery ended the last day in October. Well that was not true! Ya that's when the doctor told me that my recovery was over, but that's not when I was feeling better because to this day, I still feel a really weird and sensitive feeling right where my incision was. Day Two Hundred Thirty Five

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS WAS AN EXCELLENT MOVIE!!!!!!! Omgosh that movie was so good and so sad :'( I'm serious, I was really trying to hold back tears on that one scene. Dang that movie was really good. I think the better than that entire prequel trilogy. I'm looking forward to the next one. Dang we only got a couple hours sleep last night. Lisa and I didn't end up going to bed until almost 2am. Then we had to get up at 5 and meet my family at Dennys at 6am. We actually got there before they did haha. But it was fun! We had some great conversation and laughs at breakfast this morning. Then afterwards, we headed to the Allen 8 theater. We got there just about 7am. The ppl were already lining up. We had to stay outside in the cold for an entire hour. My mom and brother were freezing lol. It was fun though. My dad saw all this work buddies. It was cool seeing him interact with all his friends. TODAY I GOT A NEW CAR

On Friday night (1.15.2016), my truck died on me :'( Timing belt broke! In other words, dead in the water. That was my Only vehicle and at the time I was looking for work and my best pal, Skye, is starting Nursing School the following Monday. She uses my truck so she was very worried and angry. I told her we needed to be thankful that my old truck lasted all that time and got her to her last day of work. Now me, I was not worried because I knew God was always there. I was scared, however, because of everything especially on Saturday morning when I woke up. So I went out into the field by my place and I prayed. I said to God how thankful I was for His many blessings. I thanked Him for my truck and the time that I had it. Then, I asked Him to please help me in my situation.
