Day Fifty Five

Woke up early this morning and did 3 miles!
Back to the grind after an Awesome camping trip in Colorado.

Came back and did DDP yoga instead of outside weights or bowflex.
Drank a gallon of water today!

We were busy the rest of the day so I did not get anymore exercise in. The camping trip was Awesome! My whole family went out there. Everyone had fun. The only problem was that it was just too hot out there! We're talking 105 degrees. I got cooked out there and sunburnt. It was also very dry and there was so much dust. Everyone, including me, just flared up in allergies. It was awful. The fishing was great. We all mostly caught catfish though. Oh man there were so many ppl out there this past weekend. Next year, if I plan this with the family again, I'm definitely not doing it on a Father's Day weekend. That is/was crazy!! On Saturday afternoon, Lisa and I went to the casino in Ignacio, CO. That was really neat. I won about $47 which was cool because I won back the money I paid for the camp site and the fishing licenses. The bad thing that day was we got lost trying to find that damn place. We're driving thru the mountains all over the place wasting gas and everything. That was indeed an adventure. I sure could have done without the heat though. Dang, it was just so hot out there! Then, we leave on Sunday afternoon because Capote Lake is only open Fri, Sat, and Sun now due to staff shortage. They said they'd get that fixed as soon as possible and go back to summer hours of being open all week. Oh I almost forgot, I took my dog Cody out there. That was a HUGE mistake! That dog was terrible out there! All he did was cry, and bark, and whine, and bark. I couldn't leave him alone because he just kept barking and whining. Gosh it was so annoying and aggravating. Lees and I rented a boat and went out on the lake Saturday morning and we left him at the truck. All the dog did for the whole 4 hours we were gone was bark and bark and bark and bark and cry and whine. Dang, I don't know what the hell his deal was. Last year when we took him to Jackson Lake in mancos, he was really well behaved and such a great dog. This year, he was just a big baby and a brat! I was very disappointed in him, so I was happy to get him home yesterday.

Anyway, all in all it was a great trip. Despite all the problems, we had fun and it was a great weekend getaway. Today, however was a busy and crazy day. I had to take my Father's Day gift back, which was this beautiful smart watch that Lisa bought me from AT&T. She bought it for me the day we left for Capote on Friday. It was Awesome! I actually saw it a few days prior to that and Lisa said she wanted to get it for me that Friday, which was last Friday. So, against my better judgment, I went ahead and let her get it. I mean, it was a great deal and all, but my bill was only supposed to go up $10 and here it ended up raising to $25 which was only twenty bucks less than we were paying before when I was paying on our new phones. I did that for two years and finally got it paid off in May. Now, a month later, I get saddled with another two year contract with that watch. Plus, it did not do everything I was told that it would do. It was basically just a watch that could get calls forwarded to. That's it. And it acted as a remote control to my smart phone. Nice gadget, but not for me. So, we took it back today and got a full refund. We're trying to save up for San Diego in August so I did not want to saddle us up with another big bill. Not right now, anyway.
Earlier in the day, we went to Sunray Casino and we totally bombed it :( We dropped over a $100 today at those damn slot machines. Yep, totally stupid and all, but that's us, total Rebels. We're not making a habit of this, though. I think I'm done with casinos for a long time. I haven't really won anything in a while. The cool thing though is that I talked to this really hot girl at the casino restaurant. She was the hostess and she was super hot with a really nice accent. Lisa was telling me to ask her out, but after losing all that money at the slot machines, I wasn't feeling too lucky so I didn't lol. Maybe next time. She's telling me to just be bold and do it. I'm sure she's right. Soon ;}

Well that was pretty much my day. Worked on my grandma's A/C tonight and got eaten alive my mosquitos. I'm still trying to heal up from Capote Lake. I got eaten alive out there too and my sunburns hurt, as well as my upper lip being all chapped. What a vacation ;}
