I am not feeling too hot today. My stomach right around my belly button is really starting to bother me. It feels like a cramp that won't go away. I know it's my hernia, or I believe it is because it was just rock hard around that area this morning. Oh man, I hope I can last until Wednesday. I'm afraid of it getting worse either later tonight or tomorrow. So I'm really taking it easy. The only problem I had today was I had to climb up on the roof and try and fix a problem with my A/C. That damn thing has another problem with the floater. Now I need to get a new one, but I don't have the money to do it now so someone will have to do it for me. Right now, I need to clean my body with those cloths for surgery. I gotta do that tonight and tomorrow night. Tomorrow is my grandpa's birthday! So far, my cell phone/internet hasn't gone off, but I'm sure it will soon enough. Luckily I was able to open everything up and update my internet stuff. Well, time to c...

Today wasn't busy, as in working busy! This morning Lees and I headed into town and got some groceries with what little money we have. We're are struggling so bad with that. Sux too because my surgery is coming up in just 3 days and we have no food. But, I was able to fit in a few things and some gas for the truck. Now this entire evening I spent at the damn casino. Why, well because they were giving away prizes all evening long. I had to be there at 5:30pm. At 6, 7, 8, and 9 they were doing money prizes. I definitely threw my hat into the bin, hoping I would win so we could have money. At 9pm was when they were giving away the grand prize which was your choice between a Toyota truck or car. Oh man, I wanted that. Not only that, but 4 ppl with $500 and the 5th person wins the car. So you're a winner no matter what. Well...I didn't win. Not once! I wasted my time. Ugh I'm so angry. I did not exercise today! I'm coming up on my surgery date here in a couple days so Lisa wanted me to live it up lol. We went to the casino. I did have a good time. I ALMOST won a big jackpot, in fact I almost won about 7 of them. DAMMIT!!! I really hate when that happens. You almost win, but don't. Story of my life! One day, mark my words, you'll see in one of these blogs that I'll have won something BIG at the casino. One day!!!! We were out there all day and did not come home until about 2pm. Lisa was kinda grumpy because she was tired and had to go to work. She's been getting back to school work and she took all her books and stuff over there. She likes to study at the casino lol. Why, I have no idea, but she likes what she likes. This afternoon, not long after Lisa left for work, my grandpa and grandma brought over some sod, I think that's how you spell it. Oh man...today was Bills Day :'( Let me tell you, that San Diego trip was worth it! Oh man we had so much fun out there. But, the sacrifices that were made and those loans we got for it, well now we have to deal with all of that. Honestly, I didn't know how it was going to go, but I was sure one way or the other, we were gonna be ok. Turns out, my Directv pulled a fast one on me. They apparently pulled money out of my bank on the 20th. That money was supposed to be for the damn car rental. Again, apparently that girl lied to us over there. She told us that she pulled out the money back when we first picked up the damn car on the 15th. Then she told us she pulled out $250. So when we got back, the bill was actually $307. So we raced to the bank and put money in to cover the extra. Here, they didn't end up pulling out the money until the 24th. Yup, I took a rest day today! I am so super sore!! I mean, SORE!!! My back is so bad I can hardly lift myself up off the bed. My arms are sore, but my feet are really bad. There was no way I could do 3 miles this morning. Yesterday, all day I was cutting and lifting and walking. Just so much and now my body is feeling it. So, today I've just been taking it easy. Trying to get caught up on everything! I really miss San Diego! That trip was so much fun, I can't begin to describe. I'm just so glad I got to take Lisa to the ocean and see her swim in it and enjoy it for the very first time. That was truly my goal and the best part of my trip. I've promised to give that to her for many years and now, that promise has been fulfilled. I'm so happy about that! Well, I'm going to try and walk tomorrow. I want to get in some exercise before my surgery. I'm so worried about putting on more weight afterwards because I won't really be able to do anything. I'll...

Did 3 miles this morning! I was going to do it by myself, but it was raining. Woke up to thunder and rainfall, which was beautiful! Lisa got up and decided to come with me so we took the dogs out and walked a great walk. Nice and cool out there! I really need to get back to drinking water. I have really been lagging on my water intake since our trip. I think my body really needs that. Once my surgery happens, I think I'm going to just stick to water for a few days afterwards. So since it was so cool outside and raining, I decided to start some yard work. I have a ton of weeds everywhere. So I spent the rest of the morning and afternoon out there cutting weeds. I cut so much and cleared out so many. When we got home from San Diego, I swear a jungle popped up everywhere around here. So I got rid of so much, but dang it feels like I didn't make a dent. MY SURGERY DATE IS SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEK, SEPTEMBER 2ND WOOHOO!!!! Yup, that is right!! The visit today went Awesome!! Oh and before I get into the visit, let me tell you what the surgeon said to me. When he walked in, he right away told me about the surgery and then he said and I quote, "You're a big guy, you probably weigh about 260 or 270 right?!" HA, SEE I TOLD YOU!! I really don't look like I weigh that much. The assistant doctor who's going to be assisting in the surgery told him my actual weight. He looked at me, then seemed kinda surprised. Then he said to me, "You carry it really well!" That made my day, man. I knew I didn't look like that. Lisa tells me all the time, but of course I never believe her. So yeah, that's what was said. So about the surgery, they're gonna fix my Umbilical Hernia. The doctor was happy and understanding that I wanted to get it fixed.
